Data Extraction
Extracts structured data from documents (tables, dates, amounts). Use to populate spreadsheets or reports.
Pack: Documents & OfficeProcedure
- 1Identify the document structure (tables, lists, sections)
- 2Define the fields to extract before starting
- 3Extract row by row, without interpreting
- 4Flag illegible values as 'to verify', never as estimates
- 5Export in Excel/Sheets-ready tabular format
Rules
- · No interpretation: extract, do not infer
- · Illegible values are marked, never invented
- · Dates in ISO format (YYYY-MM-DD) to avoid ambiguity
Expected output
Extracted table (fields as columns) + row count + list of values to verify
When not to use it
- · Tables with multiple possible readings: flag the ambiguity
- · Extracting unnecessary personal data: only required fields
