Document Generation

Generates the formal document (Word/PDF) from the company template. Use after quote calculation.

Procedure

  1. 1Take the latest computed quote and customer data
  2. 2Fill the company template: header, customer, items, totals, terms
  3. 3Verify mandatory fields: company name, VAT ID/tax code, date, signatures
  4. 4Generate the document and report the file name
  5. 5Sending remains an action requiring human approval

Rules

  • · VAT ID and tax code mandatory: no document is generated without complete tax data
  • · Never insert bank details unless present in the template
  • · File name: `preventivo-<cliente>-<data>.docx`

Expected output

Document generated (file name) + list of verified fields + send status (pending approval)

When not to use it

  • · Document with unverified tax data: block and ask for confirmation
  • · Sending the document to the customer: high-risk action, needs approval
