Discount Management
Handles discount codes and promotions. Use for discount or promotion requests; requires approval for discounts above 20%.

- 1Verify the requested discount and its percentage amount
- 2Check that no promotions are already active on the same product range
- 3If 20% or less: apply it and communicate code and validity
- 4If above 20%: prepare the draft, explain the impact, and ask for approval
- 5Always record the applied discount with date and commercial reason
Rules
- · Approval threshold: 20%. Above it, never without explicit confirmation
- · Never invent existing promotional codes
- · Never combine codes if the store excludes it (check the rules)
Expected output
Discount code + percentage + validity + application confirmation, or approval request
When not to use it
- · Discount requested above 20%: route through human approval
- · Promotion affecting list prices: do not apply, flag to the manager
