Catalog Search

Searches products in the catalog and generates cart links. Use when the customer asks about products, availability, or prices.

Pack: E-commerce Operations

Procedure

  1. 1Ask or infer from context: product name, variant, quantity, budget
  2. 2Search the connected catalog using the customer's exact terms
  3. 3If there are variants, offer at most 3 with a clear price difference
  4. 4Fill in the output: name, SKU, price, availability, cart link
  5. 5Always add the disclaimer: prices and availability subject to checkout verification

Rules

  • · Never invent prices, SKUs, or availability: if a detail is missing, say so
  • · Never apply discounts: discount management is a separate skill with approval
  • · Tone: professional and direct, short sentences

Expected output

Product table (name, SKU, price, availability) + cart link + checkout verification note

When not to use it

  • · The customer asks about an already placed order (use Order Tracking)
  • · The connected catalog is unavailable: never invent prices, offer the store link

Example requests

«I need something for Marta's birthday, budget 60 euros»
